A special live broadcast with a vaccination expert was held on January, 22. During the live transmission, Igor Utyashev, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Director of the Clinical Research Department of the Hadassah International Medical Center, who conducted clinical trials of the Sputnik V vaccine, answered the questions from the audience.
In almost an hour and a half live presentation, the renowned doctor comprehensively covered the key aspects of vaccination, including questions, doubts, myths, and fakes. He answered questions that almost everyone is worried about: what constitutes vaccines and how do they work, are they safe and how effective they actually are, who should get a shot right away, and who'd better wait a bit?
Summing up the live transmission, Igor said: "If you are over 18 years old, you are not a pregnant or breastfeeding woman, and you do not have any acute allergic reactions to the components of the vaccine or to the vaccination itself, you can and you should get a shot!"
