The respective resolutions on the appointment of Maksim Kuzemchenko to the Chief Executive Officer and on the resignation of Stanislav Ploshchenko, prior Chief Executive Officer, were taken at the general meeting of members of East Mining Company. The new chief executive officer has already taken his office.
Maksim Kuzemchenko came to East Mining Company from the position of Managing Director of United Wagon Company RPC, where he reviewed business development, international expansion and supply chain management. Before RPC UWC was founded in 2012, he managed the trade house of Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant JSC.
Earlier, before he started his work to create and develop the freight car building project of IST Group, Maksim Kuzemchenko was CEO of Ukrainian Mining Company; he also had various managing positions in the companies of mining, metallurgy, and machine engineering industries, such as Polymetal, Baltic Shipyard, Kharkov Tractor Plant, Kuzbassugol, Severstal.
Stanislav Ploshchenko resigned from the position of CEO as far as he was transferred to a new functional business segment. He continues to be a member of the Board of Directors of East Mining Company.
