The historical record for monthly coal production was set by the Solntsevsky coal mine
The flagship of the Far Eastern coal industry has updated the regional record of coal production, which he himself set. In May, the Solntsevsky coal mine produced 1,404,378 tons of minerals. This is the largest figure in the history of the Sakhalin Region.
The highest result was achieved due to the digitalization and optimization of production processes, the modernization of the fleet, the organization and planning of mining operations, as well as the motivation of people for results. But the most important merit, according to the management of the enterprise, is the well-coordinated work of the entire team and the personal contribution of each employee.
This is an achievement of our large and friendly team of the Solntsevsky coal mine. It is based on competent planning of mining operations, efficient blasting, maintenance of roads and machines in good condition, high dedication of drivers and operators of quarry equipment, our well-coordinated interaction and prompt solution of problems in a constantly changing environment. Undoubtedly, the digitalization of production and the work of the situational and analytical center played a big role. I want to sincerely thank each employee of our team for this contribution to the common cause, - said Konstantin Chashnikov, Deputy Director of the Solntsevsky coal mine for open-pit mining.
The production record is not the only outstanding figure set by the Solntsevsky coal mine in May. Also, a record was set for the transportation of minerals to the Coal Sea Port of Shakhtersk. Within a month, SCM shipped 1,517,000 tons.
Due to the correct distribution of coal among the complexes, the high technical availability of equipment, and logistics, we are now processing all the coal that we mine. In addition, at the beginning of May, we had the remains of coal from last month. Together with the well-coordinated work of the SCM and CSPSh teams, this gave a result of over 1.5 million tons, - said Ivan Podgornykh, Deputy Director of the Solntsevsky coal mine for production.
Note that the previous record was set in September 2022 and amounted to 1237019 tons. This year, the Solntsevsky coal mine faces the task of extracting 13.5 million tons of coal.
