East Mining Company representatives took part in the Native Islands mass race with the longest distance

The fans of running were happy to participate in the Native Islands mass race held in the center of the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk for already the second year in a row. More than 2000 people came to start in the distances from 2.5 to 10 km. Among the participants, there were both local residents and foreign guests from Japan and the USA.

The representatives of the East Mining Company, including Oleg Misevra as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, took part in the mass race. The head of the company chose the longest distance of 10 km.

In general, the sports festival was a success, lucky with the weather, the sun was shining all day long.

The mass race was held for the second year. And exactly the same is the age of the organizer, namely, the Native Islands Charity Fund.

The organizers noted a significant increase in the number of participants as compared to that of the last year. Noteworthy was the fact that the whole families took part in the race.

All the participants were divided into categories of amateurs and professionals. The money prizes also corresponded to the category and distance.

The professional winner in the distance of 10 km received 50,000 roubles, and the amateur winner received 30,000 roubles.

The professional winner in the distance of 5 km received 30,000 roubles, and the amateur winner received 20,000 roubles.
